Don't Miss Your Life-Defining Moments
by Bill Nichols

He took the shot just in time…
He took the shot just in time. Don’t miss your shot.
When my son-in-law, Mike, took this photo he calls “Moon Over Tapatio,” he had only a few seconds to get the shot before the clouds moved in and he missed his opportunity. That’s the way it is with many important decisions in our lives. We see a chance to do something important and decisively claim the moment, or we hesitate and miss it all together.
Jesus challenged his followers to do what he did—claim the moment any time God gave him an opportunity to make difference in someone’s life. He said, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” John 9:4
Any time the Spirit of God opens a door of opportunity for you, and you step out on faith and get involved, that very well may become a life-defining moment for you and those around you. Remember, not only in photos but also in life, clouds move in and breath-taking opportunities are too often missed. Don’t let that happen to you.
