Mining for God in Utah

by Greg Asimakoupoulos

Posted: August 12, 2007

Standing with those who kneel in prayer…

Utah,
You weep.
You try to sleep.
You pray.
You trust.
You know
you must unite.

You aren't
alone.

The tears
you own
roll down
my face
as I
embrace your pain.

What's yours
is mine:
The prayer
to find
the means
to cope
and rest
our hope in God.
