The heart of an artist is unlike the norm.
It pulsates in uneven beats.
Creativity’s rhythm is random (at best)
and resists ritualistic repeats.
The heart of an artist sparks a cadence of life
in a current of joy, faith and hope.
In that small human chamber ideas are born
that enable our frail world to cope.
The heart of an artist continues to beat
even after the artist is gone.
The gifts of their palette (like the presence of God)
beautify each new day. They live on!
